Leaders of liberal-democratic coalition elect their president

Many parliamentarians and members of liberal-democratic coalition of the Republic of Moldova, who hold Romanian citizenship, are attending this Sunday elections of Romanian president.

The ballot sections for Romanian presidential elections, established in Chişinău, were already attended in this morning by the mayor of capital city, Dorin Chirtoacă, the liberal MP, Gheorghe Brega, the deputy chair of Liberal Party, MP, Corina Fusu and other parliamentarians from liberal-democratic coalition.

The Parliament of 18th convocation includes 17 MPs with double citizenship, or MPs who have initiated the procedure of getting the citizenship of another state. Out of these, 9 hold the citizenship of Romania.

Romania currently holds the presidential elections. 12 candidates are running in these elections. 13 polling sections were set out in republic of Moldova, out of which 4 are established in Chişinău and 9 in various localities of the country.
