SHOCKING: An open pro Băsescu publicity in polling sections of Chişinău

The polling section for Romanian presidential elections, established right in Romanian embassy in Chişinău, a young man got inside with a coat with an open call in favour of current Romanian president, Traian Băsescu, running in electoral campaign.

The young man was noticed only in front of the voting booth, succeeding to get through several filters that should be vigilant. Finally, observers requested him to take off his coat, since during the day of elections, according to electoral legislation, it is forbidden to accomplish any form of electoral agitation in favour of any of candidates.

Before reaching the voting section, the voter was staying for long time in line right in front of Romanian embassy, where the voters with Romanian citizenship were waiting to vote.

Electoral campaign for Romanian presidential elections was closed on November 20, and that’s why in proximity to voting sections electoral billing is prohibited in order to assure that nobody’s choice if thereby influenced.

12 candidates are running in these elections. 13 polling sections were set out in republic of Moldova, out of which 4 are established in Chişinău and 9 in various localities of the country.
